Hunger Games - Chapter 24

Chapter 24 (p.320-330)
Peeta is shocked to learn he had a hand in killing “Foxface.” After a night back in the cave and a meal, Peeta and Katniss learn the game has changed again and they are being forced to a final meeting with Cato at the lake. However, the Gamemakers seem to have yet another surprise waiting for the three remaining Tributes.
  1. How did “Foxface” die?
  2. What does Katniss think of Cato’s state of mind? How does she have a better understanding of him than she thought?
  3. How have the Gamemakers changed the game? Why?
  4. What is Cato wearing? Why is he running?

4 comments:

  1. 1. Pee was forced to kill her.

    2. She thinks he possibly has a short temper, probably not as smart as Foxface was, well-trained, sneaky and she thinks she can read him now.

    3. They are going to have Kat and Pee go against each other when the audience gets bored with the story. Ya know, sorta like a twist in a movie. You never see it coming...

    4. Ummm... I don't know what he's wearing (can you say stalker?) but he is running because he is distracted (?)

  2. 1 The poisonous berries Foxface ate killed her.

2 Cato is similair to Katniss in many ways.

3 The Gamemakers drained the water from the rivers, so the only water source is the lake by the Cornucopia.

4 Cato is wearing armor and being chased by something.

  3. 1- Peeta had posionous berries called nightlock berries which Foxfase ate which then killed her.

2- Well Katniss thinks that Cato is smart and strong, but also becoming impatient.

3- Well the Gamemakers drained all the water sources except for the cornacopia because then Katniss, Peeta, and Cato will go there evetualy and have to fight.

4- Well Cato is wearing body armour, and he is running because something is chasing him.
